Oh Fat CO Rioter, methinks you missed the point. I'm actually trying to save the salesclerks like yourself from having to deal with ignorant customers. You should not be crapped on and I hate people who treat the clerks bad. The managers get paid a decent salary, they can put up with it. Don't be a sucker! Simple.

As for the phone companies and their "lost" revenue... HA! Look at your bill Fat CO, those folks are doing just fine. If my contract expired six months later, then my case is lost. But T-Mobile includes a secret grace period that they would NEVER tell you about unless you asked- which happens to be two months. DONE DEAL. Saving $200 on any purchase is worth doing your homework :)

Countless nights I spent spinning the barrel because I knew that the next day working in wireless retail would consist of coddelling people like this. Now your giving pointers on how to whine successfully? With all due respect, you know the rules already. Carriers pay absurd amounts of money for phones (that's how phone manufacturers make money) and they sell them cheaper to gain your contract (that's how carriers make money.) Two months prior would be May 15, so no deal. That's the point of the contract. Frankly, my concern isn't over contracts or big corporations, it's the poor sales rep who has to, yet again, listen to another customer complain about contracts and stupid rules; all while waiting for their shift to end so they can go back to their homework or crack pipe. People like you, who can't follow simple rules, cause undue headache and frustration causing decreased customer service for the next arse who comes in with a busted phone (seriously, not my fault, the moisture from the shower ruined it, not my Gin and Tonic.!)
